Senior Heritage Day Picnic Tuesday

Local seniors are invited to the annual Senior Heritage Day Picnic Tuesday.

The event takes place at the Houghton County Arena from 11am to 2pm and is for seniors 60 and over.

The picnic provides an opportunity to socialize and learn about local services and community offerings while participating in fun activities and enjoying lunch.

Several businesses, community agencies, and educational institutions will be present to share what they have to offer area seniors.

Plus they will have games, prizes and raffles.

The event is hosted by the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program.

Tickets are $5.00 and will be available at the door.

Theme:       Oldies but Goodies Music Montage! Music provided by Wolftrax DJ Service

The RSVP Advisory Committee and event planners encourage active seniors to attend.
