Junior senator from Michigan Gary Peters, has announced a proposal to help slow the spread of COVID-19 by ensuring the nation’s public health agencies are prepared to handle the influx of patients.
Peter’s proposal has three steps.
The 1st step involves making sure respirators, ventilators and personal protective equipment is readily available.
The second step concerns adding healthcare workers and finally, increasing the capacity of healthcare facilities for all patients needing care.
