Governor Whitmer’s Executive Order, allowing sector’s of the economy in the U.P. and parts of the northern Lower Peninsula to begin reopening this Friday, was welcomed by many in the area.
However, State Senator Ed McBroom was not one of them.
Restaurants and bars can open at half regular seating capacity, office work which can’t be done remotely, and retail establishments, can begin reopening.
Gyms, barber shops, hair salons and tanning booths are still waiting for the OK to reopen.
