Search For New Hancock City Manager Begins

Long before his final farewell, the Hancock City Council voted in favor of beginning the search process for a new city manager to replace long-time serving Glenn Anderson.

Anderson has indicated he will retire at the end of next year.

The process will begin with the city’s Personnel Committee, who will consider partnering with a professional search firm to fill the position.

The city hopes to find a qualified candidate in time for that person to work with Anderson during the transition.
