Scholarships Available For Local High School Students From Portage Health Foundation

[Hancock, MI] The Portage Health Foundation (PHF) announces that the 2018-2019 high school scholarships are now available. PHF will award one (1) $500 scholarship to a graduating senior from each school in the four-county community. The scholarship is a one-time award to support students with educational costs at a post-secondary school of their choosing. Please note, this scholarship is separate from the scholarships available at Michigan Tech, Finlandia and Gogebic.

Eligible schools include

• Baraga
• L’Anse
• CLK
• Dollar Bay – Tamarack
• Hancock
• Houghton
• Jeffers
• Lake Linden – Hubbell
• Ewen-Trout Creek
• Ontonagon

Students must get their completed application to their principle or school counselor by February 25, 2019 at 3:00 pm. Please note, no late or incomplete applications will be considered.
