Don’t get scammed!
The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office has received complaints that a scam has been targeting Dish Network customers.
The scammers are calling residents using the name “Info-Tech” and stating that they are contracting with Dish Network.
The scam involves asking for account information and payment information to adjust satellites feeding the signal.
The Sheriff’s Office has confirmed through Dish Network that “Info-Tech” is not a contractor for Dish Network.
Do not give any information to scammers and contact your actual service provider if you have questions about service.
