Kids in and around Hancock have a new place to hang out after school.
The Salvation Army has opened up a drop in center that will be available beginning at 3:30 each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Envoy Brenda DeLacy says they want to give kids a safe, positive place to go – especially if they might otherwise be heading home to an empty house…
They’ll mix in some more structured activities…
All kids are welcome, and there’s no charge.
