Salvation Army Begins Coat Giveaway

The Salvation Army will begin its winter coat giveaway today.

Families who need winter coats can stop at the Salvation Army building in Hancock between 9:00 and 3:00 today and tomorrow.

Yes, it’s just October, but Envoy Brenda DeLacy knows winter’s on its way…

Families who need winter gear are welcome…

A few other winter essentials will also be available. They ask that you bring an ID, and proof of the ages of members of your household.

The Salvation Army will continue to accept registrations for Thanksgiving Baskets through October 31st. Registrations for Christmas toys and food baskets is also underway. Stop by their Hancock office weekdays between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. Bring ID, proof of income, and proof of household size.
