Roller Skating Returns to the Gipp

Roller skating returns to the George Gipp Arena in Laurium this weekend. 

The first skating session of the season will be held Sunday between 1:00 and 4:00. Additional sessions will take place every other Sunday through the summer, and possibly until ice is installed next fall.

Each session costs $2. Participants should bring their own skates or roller blades. The concession stand will be open.

All skaters must have a waiver signed either by themselves if they’re an adult, or a parent or guardian if they’re not of legal age. New waivers must be filled out for this season.
