Remembering Loved Ones Lost

Although hospice cannot add days to a person’s life, it most certainly can add life to their days.

Aspirus at Home hosted the annual Service of Remembrance at the Ontonagon Christian Centre earlier this month.

The service honors loved ones who passed away in the compassionate care of hospice in the past year.

The program included a short non-denominational service by Rev. Rosemary Dehut and Hospice Chaplain Kathleen Johnson, and included readings by hospice staff.

Yvonne Blake provided the music and played the guitar during the lighting of the candles in memory of loved ones.

Afterwards, there were goodies and beverages, and time to visit with family members and the hospice team.
