Registration Open For Fall Classes At Calumet Art Center

The Calumet Art Center is offering a series of after school programs this fall, focusing on The Minis, The Muses, and The Classicists.

There are art programs for students from 1st grade through 12 grade, and run from September 11th to December 11th.

THE MINIS
1st Grade-3rd Grade
TUESDAYS
3:30 pm – 5:30 pm

THE MUSES
4th Grade-7th Grade
THURSDAYS
3:30 pm – 5:30 pm

THE CLASSICISTS
8th Grade-12th Grade
SATURDAYS
10 am – 12pm

Students can register for as many classes as they’d like to attend, or stop in to try one.

The classes will be taught by certified K-12 Art Teacher Paige Gwyn.

Parents must provide transportation.

Classes incorporate introductory to intermediate art media including drawing, painting (acrylic/watercolor), intermedia, journaling, zining, ceramics (sculpture/pottery), and fiber arts.  Classes differentiate to student needs and are interdisciplinary with history, science, and math.
