Hancock-Registration is open for the 32nd annual Summer Arts Camp at the Copper Country Community Arts Center. Camp is five exciting days of art making and exploration for children entering 3rd-6th grades.
This year’s Summer Arts Camp theme is “Studio Arts.” Camp Coordinator Melissa Hronkin, along with guest artists, will guide students in a variety of art making activities such as nature sketching, creating clay pendants or whistles, Chinese brush painting, making small books, ukulele playing, and more. Campers will learn in a fun, supportive, and educational environment.
Camp is held Monday-Friday from 10am-3pm and parents may choose from one of two sessions. Session I: July 17-21 or Session II: July 24-28. Students must wear play clothes and bring a sack lunch.
The camp fee is $110 if students are registered and paid July 1st, $110. After July 1st the fee is $125. The discounted fee is only given to applicants that pay by the early registration deadline. Deadline to register for either session is Tuesday, July 11. Supplies are included.
