Another of the three Copper Country residents arrested on child sex charges in mid-March has had his case bound over to Circuit Court.
In District Court Friday morning, 34-year-old Jeffrey David Redd of Laurium waived his preliminary exam. He faces charges of Child Sexually Abusive Activity, Use of a Computer to Commit Child Sexually Abusive Activity, and Accosting a Child for Immoral Purposes. Redd has also been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Cocaine.
His next hearing will be in front of Judge Charles Goodman this afternoon.
One of the other men charged in the case, 21-year-old Kahleb Thorsson Senia-Wicks of Calumet, is also awaiting trial in Circuit Court. The case of the third man, 27-year-old Jason Wesley Davis of Calumet, remains in District Court, with the next hearing scheduled for May 23rd.
