Good news on city-wide recycling in Hancock.
City Manager Glenn Anderson said the city is closing in on 40 to 50 percent participation from residents.
The initial goal is to reach 50 percent.
The estimated participation from small businesses within the downtown area is 20 to 25 percent.
Hancock City Hall has also joined in on the recycling effort.
