Ranger III Waterway Cruises Set

The Isle Royale National Park has scheduled two Keweenaw Waterway Cruises this summer.

The trips on the Ranger III are set for July 7th and July 21st. Passengers must arrive at 11:45 for boarding, in advance of a 12:30 departure. Cruises to the Lower Entrance typically last up to three hours. A park ranger will add commentary about some of the historical sites.

A light jacket is recommended, and passengers are welcome to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. There is no food service on the ship.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children ages 15 and younger. Cruises frequently sell out, so advance registration is recommended. Reservations can be made Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Call (906) 482-0984 or stop by the Houghton Visitor Center.
