Range Lions Get Into Holiday Spirit

Range Lions Club of South Range was recognized by Lions International with a membership satisfaction patch for the past fiscal year at their November meeting.

During the meeting, the Range Lions agreed to volunteer their service to ring the bell for the Salvation Army during the yuletide season on Saturday, December 1st at Shopko.

They also discussed plans for their annual Christmas party and donated $250 to the Christmas in South Range festivities to be held on Saturday, December 15th at the South Range Community building, sponsored by the South Range Volunteer Fire Department.

Another $250 was donated to the Adams Township Volunteer Fire Department for their Santa Day event to be held in December at the fire hall in Atlantic Mine.

The Range Lions donated $100 each to the Range Lounge for the use of their facilities for club meetings, Northwoods Airlifeline, and to UP Honor Flight.

The winners for their annual fall raffle for sight conservation and civic improvement were also announced:
