Project Homeless Connect Showcases Services For Area Homeless

An event to showcase available services for those struggling with homelessness is being held Wednesday.

Project Homeless Connect is a is a national initiative sponsored by the U.S. Inter-agency Council on Homelessness.

The Continuum of Care for Houghton, Keweenaw and Baraga Counties are inviting the public to join them at the lobby of the DHHS office in Houghton and the lobby of the Salvation Army in Hancock from 11am to 1pm.

Attendees can learn about services for those in need.

If you are homeless or at risk for becoming homeless, stop by either place and get some helpful information, a goodie bag and have a light snack.
