President Trump has put the response to the Coronavirus outbreak, into the hands of Vice President, Mike Pence.
President Trump said “The risk to the American people remains very low.”
He also suggested people prepare for a virus outbreak, the same way they prepare for flu season.
The administration recently asked Congress for $2.5 Billion to prepare for an outbreak.
Democrats have criticized the request, saying it’s not enough to develop and distribute treatments and protective equipment.
President Trump said more funding will be given if needed.
Currently, there are over 80,000 cases worldwide, with 59 known cases in the U.S.
No known cases are in Michigan, although over 300 people are being monitored for signs.
