The Portage Lake District Library is re-opening for limited access by patrons.
The modification to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services’ Epidemic Order issued Friday will enable the library to return to Phase Three of its reopening plan.
Some indoor activities will resume. Masks will be required. Visits will be limited to 30 minutes or less, and the library’s capacity will be reduced.
The library had been providing curbside service during the shutdown. That will continue to be available for those who are not comfortable entering the building.
The Hancock School Public Library will also resume its regular hours this week.
