The Portage Lake District Library is now offering to host your online meeting via Zoom, as the library’s meeting rooms are not available due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Library patrons in need of an online meeting can reserve one by contacting the library.
You must be over 18, meetings must start by 6pm, Monday through Friday.
Meetings can accommodate up to 100 people, and can run up to two hours.
Library staff will start your meeting, and allow new users in.
Most meetings are allowed, however, buying or selling goods or services, soliciting donations and meetings charging fees, are not permitted.
Program Coordinator Michael Stanitis said “Our Zoom meeting rooms for checkout are a virtual version of our community room, made available during a time when we are unable to accommodate in-person groups.”
Information to book a Zoom meeting is here.
