Portage Lake District Library Offers New Services For The Public

The Portage Lake District Library is open for business, and offering new services for the public.

If you’re not yet comfortable coming to the library in person, you can call ahead, and pick your items up curbside, or even have them delivered to your home.

You can also sign up for the Read for Relief Summer Reading Program, which offers prizes, when you reach certain reading benchmarks.

If you visit the library in person, masks are required, and will be provided, if you don’t have one when you arrive.

Social Distancing will also play a big part in library visits for the time being.

As a result of this, no more than 50 people at a time in the library, including staff.

Patrons will also be limited to 30 minutes per visit.

This includes computer time as well.
