Superior AmeriCorps will be holding an informational and recruitment session at the Portage Lake District Library on Monday, July 31, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Superior AmeriCorps member Beth Shannon will give an overview of the organization and explain the kinds of work they do locally to make a difference in our preschools, local school districts, and non-profit agencies.
People who are community minded, have a heart for volunteer service, and who like exploring something new are encouraged to attend.
Those who are interested in joining Superior AmeriCorps for the upcoming school year will be given an application.
