Portage Lake District Library Hosts Local Father and Son Authors

The Portage Lake District Library invites everyone who enjoys storytelling for a reading and discussion by the authors of “Charlie 906” on Thursday, July 6, at 5:00 p.m.

“Charlie 906” is a playful story about a crow, a cast of north woods animals, and a favorite Yooper food, the pasty. This delightful book was written, illustrated and published by 10 year old Keaton Snell and his father Dominic. Keaton and Dominic will discuss how the story came to be and share anecdotes of their adventures in writing a book together.

This program is for children and their families. Pasties will be served, and there will be a book signing and selling after the presentation.

Library events are free and everyone is welcome. For more information, please call the library at 482-4570.
