Portage Lake District Library Hosts Aging Life Care Presentation

The Portage Lake District Library will host a presentation on services that are offered by Aging Life Care on Thursday, August 16, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Maureen Jensen and Carol Johnson Pfefferkorn will present a detailed explanation of Aging Life Care, a holistic, client-centered approach to caring for older adults or others facing ongoing health challenges, that is now available in Houghton County through Jensen Case Management LLC.

Aging Life Care professionals are health and human services specialists who are a guide, advocate, and resource for families caring for an older relative or disabled adult. Their guidance leads families to the actions and decisions that ensure quality care and optimal life for those they love.

While the majority of Aging Life Care clients are older adults, Aging Life Care professionals also assist younger adults with physical or developmental disabilities, brain injury, mental health problems, and chronic or serious illnesses of any type.

More information can be found at www.aginglifecare.org.

This event is free and everyone is welcome. For more information, please call the library at
