If a poetry slam has been missing from your life, Michigan Tech to the rescue.
Michigan Tech’s Black Student’s Association and the Rozsa Center, are welcoming Ebony Stewart, this Friday, February 21st at 7pm.
Stewart is a Texas based slam poet and playwright.
She has also toured around the world, performing spoken word, as well poetry and one-woman plays.
George Hummowen, Rozsa Center Production Manager explained what slam poetry actually is.
Stewart hopes her work is relatable to everyone, and removes shame and heals minds. Tickets are $15.
