Members of local law enforcement and firefighters will face off against each other tomorrow for the annual Pigs N Heat hockey game.
Proceeds from the game support the Pigs N Heat Fund, which provides financial assistance to crime and fire victims in the Copper Country.
A large crowd is expected for the game and though the B-squad is more about just having fun, Lt. Nick Roberts of the Houghton Police Departments says fans can expect a very competitive game from the A-squad.
Lt. Roberts says the fund paid out about $8,000 to victims in 2016 and they need this event to be successful to replenish that fund.
The puck drops at 7pm tomorrow night at MacInnes Student Ice Arena.
