Partnership Offers Reopening Kits To Small Businesses

In response to certain sectors of the economy being allowed to reopen, the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce, Keweenaw Convention and Visitors Bureau, The Keweenaw Economic Development Alliance and Superior National Bank, have partnered up, and are offering reopening kits, designed to help small businesses reopen safely.

The kits contain face masks, gloves, disinfectant spray, and other things needed to ensure small businesses can reopen, while slowing the spread of the virus.

Jen Julien, who sits on the Keweenaw Convention and Visitors Bureau, and owns the Vault Hotel in Houghton said the provision of some basic supplies to help them open and comply with state requirements is a big deal to local businesses.

Businesses wishing to pick up a kit, can contact the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce.
