Ottawa National Forest Seeks Campground Concessionaire

The Ottawa National Forest is looking for someone to run five western Upper Peninsula campgrounds.

Proposals are being accepted now for now accepting proposals for operation and maintenance of the Bobcat Lake, Henry Lake, Moosehead Lake, and Pomeroy Lake campgrounds located south and southwest of Lake Gogebic, and the Black River Harbor campground and pavilion located on Lake Superior west of the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park.

The concession contracts would run for five years, beginning next spring.

Interested parties may set up appointments to tour the sites November 8th, 14th or 19th. Applications are due December 13th.
