The Michigan State Police Calumet Post is hosting an open house this Friday.
The public is invited to stop in between 10am and 2pm and help celebrate their 100 year anniversary.
This is also a good opportunity to meet members of the post, learn more about the Michigan State Police and get career information for those interested in possibly becoming a state trooper.
There will also be displays and specialty units on site, including members of the MSP emergency support team, K-9 Team, MSP forensics lab, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division officers, hometown security team members and the area’s community service trooper.
A vintage 1957 Ford Michigan State Police patrol car will also be on display.
Coffee and light refreshments will be available.
