Ontonagon, Gogebic County Schools Suspend Face-to-Face Instruction

School districts in Ontonagon and Gogebic Counties will suspend all face-to-face instruction and other activities, beginning today.

The Western Upper Peninsula Health Department recommended the move, as the two counties have seen increased COVID-19 numbers.

Online instruction will continue. Officials hope to resume in-person instruction November 9th.

Gogebic Community College’s Ironwood campus will also move exclusively to online instruction, beginning today.
