The Feeding America West Michigan Mobile Food Pantry will return to Ontonagon today, but at a different location than originally planned.
The Pantry will set up at noon at the Ontonagon Village Fire Hall.
Food packages including meat, fruit and vegetables will be handed out in a drive-through venue, on a first-come, first-served basis. They will bring enough to supply around 300 families.
There is no formal application, and no proof of income is required. The Mobile Pantry’s visits to the Copper Country are underwritten by the Portage Health Foundation’s COVID-19 Community Recovery Fund.
