Ontonagon County Election Results Recap

In Ontonagon County, current Bergland Township Supervisor David Roberts, a Democrat, knows who his Republican challenger will be in November.

Carl Bailey beat out Tom Paulman 67 to 33 percent in the primary.

All four county-wide proposals passed—the EMS, Tax Limit, Public Transit and Senior Millages.

So did the millages for the Bohemia Township Operating and the Ontonagon Township Fire.

However, the Bergland Township Maintenance and Repair and the Matchwood Township General Fund proposals failed to receive a majority support.
