One person is injured after a two car collision in Ontonagon yesterday morning.
The Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Department says Fay Groitzsch of Bruce Crossing was traveling West on M64 at intersection of M64/US45 in Ontonagon Village just after 9:30am, when she started to make a left turn onto US45. Not seeing any traffic she continued on.
George Domitrovich of Ontonagon was traveling East on M64 when he attempted to avoid hitting the vehicle but was unable to avoid a collision.
Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and had to be removed by M64 Towing.
A passenger in the Domitrovich vehicle had minor injuries and was transported by SONCO ambulance to Aspirus Ontonagon.
The Ontonagon Village Fire Department and Aspirus MedicVac assisted at the scene.
