The North Woods Conservancy is raffling off a brand new truck as a fundraiser.
The grand prize in the Keweenaw Truck Raffle is a 2018 Chevy Silverado LTZ Z-71, four door, 4×4, Midnight Edition.
The truck is valued at over $56,000 and includes tax and license plus 25 percent of the IRS taxes paid. That brings the total prize value to $78,000.
They are only selling 1,000 tickets at $145 each with a maximum of 10 per person.
You must be 18 or over to buy a ticket, which are available at the Ahmeek Streetcar Station, four miles north of Calumet on US-41. There you’ll often find the truck on display with a red banner.
The drawing will take place at 1pm on Labor Day, September 3rd. All proceeds from the raffle will benefit Keweenaw natural areas.
