Nominations are being accepted for an award from the Martha & Floyd Heart & Hand’s Society.
The award will go to someone who has given of their heart and hands in the service of peace, justice, or the environment who might otherwise not be recognized.
This person will be recognized at the Keweenaw Community Foundation’s 2018 Keweenaw Gold Event taking place on May 16th.
The awardee will receive a $1500 monetary award to donate to a non-profit of their choice.
Nominations are due to the Heart & Hands Society by May 4th.

The Martha & Floyd Heart & Hand’s Society was founded in 1998 with a small endowment from the estate of Martha and Floyd Kinzel.
