“No Kid Without A Christmas” Seeks Donations

Keweenaw County’s “No Kid Without a Christmas” campaign is asking for donations.

The program is in its 21st year.

At this week’s Keweenaw Lions Club meeting, County Clerk Julie Carlson and Sheriff Bill Luokkanen told members that they typically provide toys, clothing, personal care items and food cards to between 35 and 45 families each year.

If you would like to support the effort, checks can be made out to ‘Sheriff’s Toy Drive’, Keweenaw County, 5105 4th St., Eagle River MI 49950.
