A Newberry man faces multiple charges following an alleged domestic violence incident.
Michigan State Police troopers were called to a home in the village late Sunday afternoon. They found an injured victim, who told them that 49-year-old Christopher Morrison had fled the scene.
Morrison was located a short time later. Arresting officers found what they believe to be methamphetamine in his pocket. Morrison was already being investigated for illegally burning some of the victim’s personal property.
Morrison was arraigned Monday on charges of meth possession and arson of personal property. He was released on bond, and required to wear a tether.
