New VA Ruling To Help Veterans Purchase Homes In Michigan

A federal ruling is being called a major breakthrough for military veterans seeking to purchase a home in Michigan.

The ruling from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs has cleared the way for military veterans in the State of Michigan to have full access to affordable financing on all types of homes they seek to purchase here.

Until now, veterans were not fully eligible for their earned VA home purchasing benefit.

Congressman Jack Bergman worked with the Home Builders Association of Michigan to push for this VA ruling on behalf of military veterans.

A news conference is being held this morning in Traverse City to announce the details.
