Great Lakes Recovery Centers, currently operate facilities throughout the Upper Peninsula.
A behavioral health agency, they offer multiple programs to help residents battle addiction and other forms of mental illness.
Outpatient counseling services are also offered, as well as offender reintegration programs.
Elissa Kent, Director of Residential Services,said addiction is no longer thought of as making a bad decision.
The latest facility coming to L’Anse, the Ripple Recovery Center, located on Main Street, across from the United Lutheran Church, is hosting an open house, from 4-6pm this Thursday.
