New COVID-19 Cases Reported

The increase in confirmed COVID-19 cases in the western Upper Peninsula continues, with the focus still on Wisconsin border communities.

Since Monday, Gogebic County has added seven new cases, to bring its total to 122. Three more confirmed cases in Ontonagon County have increased its total to 17. Houghton County reported one more confirmed positive, raising its total to 44.

24 new confirmed recoveries in the five-county region have also been recorded by the Western Upper Peninsula Health Department.
