A new book out by author Steve Lehto looks at the effort of one man who nearly made the most out of the American Dream.
“Preston Tucker and His Battle To Build The Car Of Tomorrow” tells the story of Tucker’s ambition and near success of starting his own car company after World War II.
Lehto says automakers at the time were returning to manufacturing the same automobiles they were making before the war–and Tucker saw an opportunity.
Lehto visited Michigan Tech to talk to engineering students about his book and thinking outside the box, the way Tucker did.
