Too often, unused prescription drugs find their way into the wrong hands. That’s dangerous and often tragic.
To keep that from happening, thousands of folks across the country recently cleaned out their medicine cabinet and turned in a record amount of prescription drugs, safely and anonymously.
The next National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday. October 27th.
Local drop off locations include the Keweenaw Bay Tribal Police office in Baraga and the Baraga County Sheriff’s Department in L’Anse.
The Houghton County Sheriff’s Department and the Michigan State Police Calumet Post also participate in the program.
