Michigan Tech has increased the number of countries to which university-related travel is being discouraged because of the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.
Italy and Iran have been added to the list, which already included China and South Korea.
The travel restriction applies to faculty, staff, and students.
Tech Today reports that those who have essential travel scheduled to one of these countries should contact the university’s Office of General Counsel.
