MTU Bike Week Promotes Cycling on Campus

This is Campus Bike Week at Michigan Tech, with events scheduled to encourage biking in and around the university.

Students can register bikes between 11:00 and 1:00 today on the Walker Lawn. Registration helps public safety officials reunite bikes with owners if the bikes are stolen or lost. There will be a Lunch and Learn at noon in the Alumni Lounge.

Cross Country Sports will provide bike tune-ups tomorrow between 11:00 and 1:00 in the MUB Circle. A campus-wide Health and Wellness Fair with the Outdoor adventure program will be held Wednesday between 11:00 and 1:00. Friday is Bike to Campus Day, and the community is invited to a group ride beginning Saturday evening at 6:00 at Husky Plaza.
