MTEC SmartZone Names Interim Leader

Former Houghton City Manager Scott MacInnes will step in as the interim CEO of the MTEC SmartZone.

MacInnes will take over for Daniel Jamison, who announced his resignation September 3rd.

MacInnes served as Houghton city manager for 17 years, before retiring in 2014.

Since then, he has worked as a consultant with the Michigan Municipal League. He has served on the MTEC SmartZone board.
