A Keweenaw Peninsula ski resort has again been recognized as one of the best in the country.
For the third straight year, Mount Bohemia is listed in the USA Today “10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards” as one of the nation’s top downhill ski destinations.
At number-four on the list, it is the only award-winner in the Midwest, and one of only two east of the Mississippi River.
Known for its bountiful fresh powder, Mount Bohemia has become a destination for extreme skiers. It boasts the tallest vertical drop in Michigan, at 900 feet, and the longest ski run, at two miles.
