More Flood Relief Money Coming from FEMA

There’s another million dollars in flood relief headed to Houghton County.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is providing $1,057,908 to the state Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy to pay to remove debris that was washed into waterways during the Father’s Day Flood in June, 2018.

That money will cover 75 percent of the anticipated cost of the project.
