More Federal Aid Coming for Flood Repairs

The federal government is kicking in some more money to help with road repairs following last spring’s Father’s Day Flood.

$8.8 million dollars has been designated to pay for repairs of federal aid highways in Houghton, Gogebic and Menominee Counties. “Federal aid highways” are defined as main roads that carry considerable traffic.

No breakdown was provided as to how much money each county was receiving.
