The Portage Lake District Library will host a summer weekly math workshop for middle school students every Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. through August.
The workshop will be led by Houghton High School Math Team member Samuel Fang and will focus on topics that include problem solving, counting and probability, math you may not learn in school, patterns, and more.
These sessions are open to all 6th – 8th grade students and will be held in the library’s Michigan Room.
