Michigan Works To Get More Personal Protective Equipment

Governor Whitmer held a press conference earlier this morning, and updated Michiganders on the latest in the COVID-19 battle.

Michigan is still short on personal protective equipment, although the state is working hard to get more.

The Governor also stated an extension of the “Stay Home Stay Safe” Executive Order may be needed.

Governor Whitmer added although her family doesn’t have the normal pressure most Michigan families do, the shutdown is still tough.

Chief Health Officer Joneigh Khaldun said healthcare workers and volunteers are still needed.

Khaldun also noted that Michigan is getting a better understanding of the COVID-19 situation, based on improved testing procedures.
